Movie Review: Kung Fu Panda

I give this movie two enthusiastic thumbs up!
Do you like Jack Black? (Stop reading my blog if the answer is “no.” Thank you kindly.)
Do you like awesome choreography?
Do you like kung fu? (To be fair I would have said “no” before I saw this movie)
Do you like pandas? (Seriously. Who doesn’t like pandas!? They are so cute!!)
Do you like a movie that makes you feel good?
If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, see this movie!
I laughed myself silly watching this Panda protagonist (Jack Black is his voice) leave the family noodle business to chase his dream of becoming a Kung Fu master, learning more than he ever thought he would, not just about the ancient fighting art but about himself. Wait, is this my blog or Reading Rainbow? Well, you’ll never mistake me for Levar Burton. I digress… Go see this movie! I was lucky enough to take two awesome kids (I even held their hands in the parking lot and made sure we didn’t forget our hoodies. I felt oh so responsible). Even if you don’t have any rugrats to take to this movie, go anyway! I think I laughed more than my 10 and 11 year old companions.
