Ella Ruth came a little late (about a week and a half), last night, just before midnight. I would have been fashionably late too, if I was making my debut into the universe as the first grandchild on either side my parents’ family. I mean, hello, a girl’s grand entrance should be absolutely fabulous. You don’t want to rush these things. (Don’t tell my sister-in-law I said that, she may feel differently). I hope not to be one of those annoying people who makes a big irritating to-do about how their child/niece/nephew is the best, most special brilliant thing since the invention of the wheel, but I really can’t predict. Nope, I am not making any promises. If however it gets to be too much, one does not need to read my blog. That being said, she is the cutest little peanut and I don’t know how I am going to make till Friday when I fly out to meet this precious girl. Every minute feels like an hour!!!!!!!!
