The APG met tonight. The APG stands for the Alpine Writers Group, even though if you read closely it really doesn’t which is ironic because someone who wants to be a writer came up with this “acronym” which she put in quotation marks because its not actually an acronym, which she felt she had to say because one of her biggest pet peeves is signs that say “fresh” corn, like does that mean its not really fresh? Anyway, the Alpine Writers Group doesn’t meet on Alpine Street anymore and kind of writes, but definitely is a group. The main activities of the group are eating, drinking wine, encouraging each other to write, praising each other’s writing, and supporting each other’s non-writing.
