Content Marketing Writing and Copywriting

You need content that shows you get your audience. You want them to land on your site — and stick around — when they search for solutions to their problems.

But you’re busy. You know exactly the message your audience needs to hear, but getting it out of your head and onto your website takes time and energy you just don’t have.

That’s where I come in.

I’m an occupational therapist-turned award-winning health and fitness journalist with bylines in outlets including The Washington Post, Time, The Guardian, Runner’s World, Outside, SELF, and Forbes. As a two-time Ironman triathlete and six-time marathoner, I started my journalism career with zero formal training. In other words, I have a knack for perseverance and problem-solving.

When you’re my client, I do everything I can to make your life easier while creating work you’re proud to publish. That means nailing your voice and style, being super-responsive, and asking the right questions to make sure I deliver exactly what you want.

Let me take care of creating content that builds your “know/like/trust” factor so you can take care of doing what you do best.

My sweet spot is anything pertaining to health and fitness. I also love writing juicy profiles.

Below are some of the clients I’ve worked with.

“Pam recently created two pieces of content for our organization that involved challenging interviews with reluctant sources. She not only finessed those interviews and elicited fantastic responses, her copy was very clean and comprehensive. She also kept me informed throughout the projects’ timeline of any expected delays and if there was a need to shift the editorial process. I’m grateful to have found a writer who can deliver impactful content in a such seamless manner.”
—Amanda McCorquodale, Digital Content Editor at Integra LifeSciences

“I worked directly with Pam on a large copywriting project in the Health and Wellness industry. Pam was a pleasure to work with and completed the project on time, on the scope and on budget.

She is very easy to work with and brings great ideas to the table. She does not simply take instructions and return a product. Pam dives into the work, asks great questions and presents innovative thinking along the course of the project.

I recommend Pam to other people looking for a high-caliber copywriter with a sharp sense of how to engage readers and keep them coming back for more.”
—John Hartman, SkillPower founder

“If you are an editor, Pam will quite simply make your life easier. I have a huge workload, a lot of stress and very little time. I know that when I pass a creative brief off to Pam, she will get it done, get it done competently and get it done on deadline. That takes stress off me and, coupled with the fact that her copy invariably needs very little editing, gives me time back.

Pam can write in any voice you need her to, to any audience of any level of sophistication and on most any subject. I’ve commissioned a wide range of stories from Pam, and she has nailed them every single time. I’ve yet to stump her!

Pam will prove herself to be an invaluable addition to any publication’s pool of freelancers, and a huge asset to any editor lucky enough to work with her.”
—Patrick Sullivan, Executive Editor/Content Director, SpineUniverse at Remedy Health Media

“Pam was an editor’s dream. Her work required little to no editing and she took direction seamlessly. Her pieces are always well thought out and researched. If all my writers could be like Pam, I would be a lucky editor indeed!”
—Talia Haykin, CMO and social media strategist

“Pam was a pleasure to work with. She wrote exceptional content, delivered her pieces on time, and was always attentive to any details about her pieces, or invoices. I would happily work with Pam again and recommend her highly.”
—Justin Martin, owner of Juice Brand Sports

“It takes a certain type of person to be able to read someone else’s personal document and respectfully provide objective, insightful and helpful feedback. That’s exactly what Pam provided me.

Every time I use her services, she tactfully offers edits and adjustments to my pieces that I never would have considered myself and the end result is a much more powerful message. I highly recommend Pam for professional or personal editing.”
